Paid Service Terms

These Paid Service Terms ("Paid Terms") supplement the Terms of Service and govern all financial transactions and credit purchases on The Story Maker platform. In the event of a conflict between these Paid Terms and the general Terms of Service, these Paid Terms shall prevail for payment-related matters.

No subscriptions: The Story Maker sells one-time, non-renewing credit packs — there is no recurring billing, no auto-renewal, and nothing to cancel. You buy credits when you need them and they remain valid for 365 days.

1.0   Credit Packs

1.1   Available Packs

The Service offers the following one-time credit packs:

  • Free — 2,500 credits granted on signup (365-day validity), up to 5 projects. No cost.
  • First Film — ₹999 for 2,500 credits, 365-day validity.
  • Starter — ₹1,999 for 5,000 credits, 365-day validity.
  • Growth — ₹5,999 for 15,750 credits (15,000 + 5% bonus), 365-day validity.
  • Scale — ₹11,999 for 33,000 credits (30,000 + 10% bonus), 365-day validity.
  • Production House Workspace — Custom credit pool, dedicated support, and team management features for up to 500 members. Available on request.

Every paid pack allows up to 15 projects. The Free tier allows up to 5.

1.2   Pack Pricing & Custom Amounts

Current prices, bonus percentages, and a custom credit top-up option (starting at 2,500 credits) are shown on the Pricing pageand may be updated from time to time. Changing prices does not affect credit packs you've already purchased.

2.0   Billing & Payment

2.1   Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment processor. We do not store your full credit card or bank details on our servers. Payment instruments are tokenized and stored by Razorpay.

2.2   Currency & Pricing

Prices are displayed in your local currency and processed securely through Razorpay. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout depending on your country of residence. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' notice.

2.3   Failed Payments

If a payment fails or is not completed at checkout, no credits are granted and no charge is made. You can simply retry the purchase at any time — there is no retry schedule or account downgrade involved, since credit packs are one-time purchases, not a recurring plan.

3.0   Credits as Virtual Items

3.1   Definition

Credits are Virtual Items within the Service. They are a unit of account used to access AI-powered features and do not constitute currency, property, or a stored value instrument. Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for real money, goods, or services outside the Service.

3.2   Types of Credits

3.3   Consumption Order

Credits are consumed in the following priority order (first-expiring-first-out):

  1. Bonus Credits (earliest expiry first)
  2. Signup Credits
  3. Purchased Credits (earliest batch first)

4.0   Refunds

Unused Purchased Credits may be refunded within a 14-day cooling-off window of purchase; Signup and Bonus Credits carry no monetary value and are never refundable. Full eligibility rules, how to request a refund, and processing timelines are covered in the Refund Policy.

5.0   Price Changes

We may modify pricing for credit packs from time to time, with at least 30 days' noticefor material changes. Price changes only affect future purchases — credit packs you've already bought keep the terms and validity they had at time of purchase.

6.0   Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies applicable to your purchase based on your location. Where required by law, we collect and remit applicable GST/VAT. Tax invoices are available in your account billing history.
