A production company does not lose money because someone cannot write a call sheet. It loses money on the fourth version of the same information — the schedule that moved, the six documents that quietly still describe the old plan, and the coordinator’s evening spent finding out which. That work is invisible on any budget line, which is exactly why it never gets fixed.
